Job Summary
Create a healthy, engaging home setting for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism while teaching daily living skills and assisting with personal care. Administer medications, perform delegated nursing tasks under nurse supervision, monitor health conditions, and respond to emergencies following established protocols. Implement behavior support plans and advocate for the health and wellness of individuals with high clinical needs. This full-time, part-time, or casual role offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.25 and access to medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits. Keystone Human Services operates across Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and New Jersey, providing community-based services that foster inclusion and community participation for all.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year work experience supporting individuals with either challenging medical needs and/or behaviors or dual diagnosis of intellectual disability and mental health
- Effective communication
- Proficient computer skills
- Successfully complete and maintain all required certifications and training mandated by regulations and additional specialized medical and/or behavioral health trainings necessary
- Valid driver's license
- Daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle (depending on work location)
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
