Job Summary
Create a healthy, engaging home setting and assist with daily living skills for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. Administer medications, perform delegated nursing tasks, and monitor health conditions under nurse supervision while responding to emergencies per protocol. Implement behavior support plans to advocate for the health and wellness of individuals with high clinical needs. Full-time, part-time, and casual roles available at $22.25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year work experience supporting individuals with either challenging medical needs and/or behaviors or dual diagnosis of intellectual disability and mental health
- Effective communication and proficient computer skills
- Successfully complete and maintain all required certifications and training mandated by regulations and additional specialized medical and/or behavioral health trainings necessary
- Valid driver's license
- Depending on work location, may be required to have daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
