Intel Process Integration Engineer - (BE)
$103,730–$198,820 year
On-site · Phoenix, Arizona, United States or Hillsboro, Oregon, United States
Job Summary
Process Flow Development: develop and define integrated process flows for interconnect modules; coordinate across lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, dielectric, and metrology teams; optimize RC performance; establish process windows and integration schemes. Yield and Defect Reduction: identify BE-driven yield loss mechanisms (open/short defects, metal voids, low k ILD damage); perform root cause analysis using SPC, DOE, FMEA; drive corrective actions to improve yield and cycle time. Process Control and Monitoring: implement control plans and process monitoring strategies; use statistical tools such as Cpk/Ppk, control charts, capability analysis. Reliability: ensure margins for electromigration, stress migration, TDDB, time-dependent degradation; evaluate impact of process window shifts on reliability. Technology Transfer: support ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing; document process specifications and SOPs. Cross-Functional Collaboration/Work with Device Engineering, Equipment Engineering/Module Engineering, Yield Engineering, Reliability Teams, and Design Teams. Qualifications emphasize strong device physics knowledge, VLSI fabrication experience, and data analysis skills. Benefits and on-site work model indicate a US-based, on-site requirement with locations in Hillsboro, OR and Phoenix, AZ.
