Job Summary
Conduct in-line inspection (ILI) support, right-of-way patrols, leak detection, and non-destructive testing on pipelines and associated equipment. Perform pigging activities, coordinate damage prevention efforts including pipeline locating via EM and GPS, and manage permanent marker installations. Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements while completing documentation for OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards. Coordinate with landowners, agencies, and contractors; actively participate in safety programs and adhere to lockout/tagout procedures. Provide on-call support for assigned areas on a rotating basis. Must live within 30 miles of Runge, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience as an Integrity Technician
- 5+ years of pipeline field/locating experience
- Proficiency in CP surveys, UT/NDT, coating inspection and application, pipeline locating, and GPS/electronic mapping systems
- Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
- Strong field documentation habits
- Valid US Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, MVR, agility and fit for duty
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms
- Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices
- Must live within 30 miles of Runge, TX
