Integrative Veterinarian

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose acute and chronic conditions using conventional diagnostics, and develop individualized treatment plans incorporating integrative therapies, nutritional interventions, and preventative care. Utilize standard diagnostic tools including laboratory testing, imaging, and functional assessments to prescribe medications and therapies within scope. Educate clients on treatment options, benefits, and limitations while collaborating with general practice veterinarians, specialists, and support staff. Maintain accurate medical records and refer cases requiring specialty or advanced intervention. Requires DVM/VMD degree, active license, and formal training in modalities such as acupuncture or herbal medicine. Full-time or part-time in-person clinical role with competitive compensation and support for continued education.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in the practicing state
- Formal training or certification in one or more integrative modalities
- Strong foundation in conventional veterinary medicine and diagnostics
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-informed integrative practice
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
- In-person clinical role

- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM)
- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Herbal medicine (Western or Eastern)
- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Nutritional therapy and functional nutrition
- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Rehabilitation and mobility-focused care
- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Manual therapies (chiropractic, massage, myofascial techniques – where licensed)
- Experience or training in one or more of the following: Laser therapy and adjunct pain management strategies
