Job Summary
Assist patients and Acupuncturist/Chiropractor/Physical Therapist throughout routine visits under the supervision of the Integrative Medicine Director, Supervisor, and provider team. Open provider schedules, maintain inventory, order medical supplies and equipment, and validate weekly/monthly/annual reporting data. Create presentation materials as directed and assist in training and development of new staff while serving as the first point of contact to troubleshoot and provide guidance to assistants. Requires fluency in English, with additional language skills in Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- BA/BS degree
- Associate Degree
- At least 2 years work experience in healthcare setting
- Type at least 35 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Current documentation of Basic Life Support
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant or Clinical Aide Certificate
- Fluent in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), Vietnamese, Spanish and other languages
- Fluency in other languages
- Associate Degree may be considered with relevant experience
