Job Summary
Provide whole-person integrative nursing care for patients at the Burnet Campus. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop person-centered care plans in collaboration with the inpatient medical team, incorporating integrative therapies such as aromatherapy, guided imagery, Reiki, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, acupressure, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, relaxation yoga and therapeutic massage. Deliver patient and family education, document services, participate in rounds and care conferences, and adapt interventions based on patient needs and outcomes. Maintain organized, safe work areas, support performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to education of staff and students within a multidisciplinary team. Maintain current nursing practice in integrative nursing, pursue continuing education, and ensure compliance with division guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing
- License to practice nursing in Ohio
- RN license in state of Ohio
- BSN commitment (preferred)
- 2+ years integrative healthcare experience (preferred)
- 2+ years pediatric nursing experience (preferred)
- Certification in Reiki I or Healing Touch I (preferred)
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or related integrative healthcare certification/licensure (preferred)
