Job Summary
Design and implement enterprise IT architecture solutions with a focus on Azure integration services, APIs, and data pipelines. Lead cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and engineers to deliver scalable, secure interoperability across disparate systems. Guide architecture blueprints, governance, and modernization efforts; mentor technical teams on cloud best practices and architectural patterns. This hybrid role requires in-office presence minimum 2 days per week in Houston, TX, and demands 7+ years of senior-level experience, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/IT, Azure certifications, and strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in IT architecture, business architecture, systems design, software development, integration architecture, or infrastructure
- Minimum 5 years experience designing cloud-native integrations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Azure Certifications (Developer, DevOps Engineer, Administrator, Solutions Architect)
- Familiarity with TOGAF and Zachman
- Strong background in software development (.NET, Java, Python) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Agile)
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, microservices, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures using Azure, AWS, GCP; Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA)
- Data platforms including data warehouses/lakes/marts and data governance
- Excellent analytical and leadership abilities
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Travel 0-10%
- Hybrid work schedule: in-office minimum 2 days per week in designated locations
