Job Summary
Build, integrate, and configure complex unmanned systems by carrying out wiring, harnessing, mechanical assembly, and system installation. Support testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis while working with engineering teams to validate performance and ensure operational readiness. Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and fleet support, and help improve integration processes, workshop standards, and testing procedures. This full-time on-site role in Chichester requires experience with electromechanical systems, reading technical drawings, and diagnosing hardware issues. You will collaborate with software and hardware engineers to deploy advanced drone operations safely beyond visual line of sight.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building or integrating complex electromechanical systems
- Strong practical assembly, wiring and integration skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics or integration documentation
- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware or system issues
- High attention to detail and pride in build quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving engineering environment
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
Desired Qualifications
- UAV, robotics, aerospace, defence or motorsport experience
- Linux, networking, embedded systems or RF communications exposure
- Soldering, crimping and cable assembly experience
- Experience supporting prototype or low-volume production environments
