Job Summary
Griffon Aerospace is seeking a mid-career Integration Technician to support both prototype development and production efforts for UAV electronics systems. Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting and validating electronic assemblies, building prototype electronics, performing quality inspections, and collaborating with electrical engineers. Key qualifications include 3-7 years in electronics testing, experience with circuit boards, and IPC standards knowledge. Candidates must be U.S. persons per ITAR regulations. Certifications in IPC standards are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in electronics testing, assembly, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with circuit boards and system-level electronic assemblies
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense industry, or military electronics
- Working knowledge and understanding of IPC standards including J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620
- Proficiency with standard electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and soldering equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations and able to access ITAR and CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information)
- Ability to work in both engineering development and production manufacturing environments
Desired Qualifications
- IPC J-STD-001 certification
- IPC-A-610 certification
- IPC-A-620 certification
- Experience with UAV or embedded systems electronics
- Experience with avionics or flight control systems
- Familiarity with military specifications and standards
