Integration Specialist

Job Summary

Design and maintain application and data integrations across systems, APIs, and services, including application-to-application links, file transfers, and SQL queries. Collaborate with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, build scalable solutions, and document designs for internal testing. Troubleshoot existing integrations, provide technical support to various IT teams, and resolve system defects while acting as a liaison between business users and project teams. Develop services and data components such as stored procedures, data extraction, and cleansing, writing SQL code to retrieve data and build reports for business analysis. Architect and implement integrations using third-party tools or built-in platforms, ensuring fault-tolerance and adherence to SDLC and testing best practices. This role requires an on-site presence to support collaboration and cross-functional partnership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of experience in working with integration platforms
  • Prior experience working with ERP, HCM or EPM software
  • Demonstrated experience in XML
  • Experience with Java or .Net
  • Experience in structured release & deployment best practices
  • Demonstrated development experience all levels of testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP, as well as experience writing fault-tolerant code
  • In depth knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL or other RDBM languages
  • Familiarity with database tools such as SQL Developer
  • Familiarity with Integration Architecture, and best practices
  • Strong familiarity with 3rd party software integration practices and tools such as Mulesoft or Jitterbit
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Familiarity with a change management process, SDLC and testing processes
  • Demonstrated ability to design and document software integration solutions
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning and AI
  • Experience with Palantir Workday Pro certification(s) (Integrations, Reporting, Extend, Adaptive Planning etc.)
