Job Summary

Lead planning and execution of business integration activities following acquisitions by conducting structured discovery across both organizations to map current structures, operating models, and decision rights. Develop clear integration plans, roadmaps, and workstream priorities while coordinating cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, IT, and Legal to ensure successful transitions. Build trusted relationships with leaders from acquired businesses to align stakeholders, facilitate governance, and drive decision-making from planning through post-integration reviews. Prepare executive dashboards and steering committee materials to track progress against strategic objectives and minimize operational disruption.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of progressive experience leading business integration, M&A integration, transformation, operational readiness, or complex cross-functional initiatives within a corporate environment
  • Experience partnering with Finance and business leaders to understand business models, cost structures, budgets, KPIs, reporting practices, and operating rhythms
  • Experience developing executive reporting, governance frameworks, steering committee materials, integration roadmaps, workstream plans, and decision logs
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization with multiple functional stakeholders and competing priorities

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with acquired businesses, joint ventures, carve-outs, integrations, or complex business transitions
  • Project management certification, such as PMP
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand how a business operates financially, structurally, operationally, and organizationally
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business integration, M&A integration, transformation, or complex cross-functional change initiatives
  • Ability to conduct structured discovery, ask effective questions, synthesize complex information, and identify implications for integration planning and decision-making
  • Ability to map current-state organization structures and operating models, including reporting lines, role accountabilities, decision pathways, hand-offs, overlaps, gaps, and dependencies
  • Strong financial literacy, including the ability to interpret budgets, cost structures, reporting practices, business performance metrics, operational KPIs, and integration-related financial impacts
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the credibility to work effectively with leaders and subject matter experts from both the acquiring and acquired organizations
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and decisions required to move work forward
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, executive reporting, and presentation skills
  • Strong planning, governance, documentation, and project execution skills, with the discipline to maintain structure without becoming overly process-driven
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and project management or workstream tracking platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools
