Job Summary
The Integration Engineering Technician role involves the assembly of structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated component sub-assemblies for Aerospace and Engines components. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills, along with the ability to safely handle hazardous systems. The position requires collaboration with engineers, attention to procedural compliance, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields
- 3-5+ years of experience in precision assembly
- Experience drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installation
- Experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration
- Ability to document and maintain accurate records, strict procedural compliance, as well as read drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple and rapidly changing priorities
Desired Qualifications
- A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration
- Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware
- Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
