Job Summary
Design and maintain high-quality integrations between TimeEdit and third-party systems, building APIs, webhooks, and event-driven pipelines using Node.js, TypeScript, Pub/Sub, MongoDB, and GCP. Define integration patterns, frameworks, and best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and security through robust architecture, monitoring, and error handling. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions while contributing to documentation and internal tooling. Work hands-on from architecture to implementation to bring integrations into production, supporting the expansion of the Academic Operations Platform serving over 2.5 million students globally.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols
- Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable systems
- Solid knowledge of monitoring, logging and error recovery patterns
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud
