Job Summary
Integrate lab test suites in the development lab and develop configurations to support system prototypes. Assist software development personnel by investigating and resolving issues, while creating and modifying scripts for data analysis of input, internal, and output messages. Troubleshoot test and prototype problems, develop troubleshooting procedures, and provide feedback on system specifications and network documents. Automate scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts, ensuring alignment with DoD integration processes and Agile methodologies. Review system components within the test environment and represent the Integration team on necessary documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret
- Typically, an advanced degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's with 9 years of experience or equivalent; Other degrees considered with strong software testing/engineering/integration experience; significant relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Top Secret clearance
- IAT Level II Certification
- Previous experience as a SW Tester/Integrator
- Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies and automated test tools
- Extremely proficient in Linux, scripting (bash, python)
- High-level understanding of automation and implementation
- Highly proficient in troubleshooting methods
- Working knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing
- Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment
- Familiarity with virtualized systems and security design and implementation
- Proven experience with Ansible or other automation tools
- US Citizenship is required
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps
- May require walking long distance from parking to work station
- Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required
- The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times
- Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors
- The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public
- Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments
- Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds
- This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing scripts in Ansible
- Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments
- Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting
- Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining databases
- Script experience a plus
