Job Summary
Integration Engineer I designs and implements scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions that connect diverse software systems. Responsibilities include writing integration code, debugging and troubleshooting integration issues, documenting APIs and integration processes, designing and maintaining integration architecture diagrams, creating and managing APIs and web services (RESTful, SOAP), implementing middleware and message brokers (e.g., NATS.io, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ), designing ETL processes, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in agile ceremonies, and applying standard engineering practices to deliver high-quality integration solutions. Qualifications emphasize experience with SnapLogic, SQL, ETL, Python, and API usage; prior integration platform experience and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative or Engineering Field (or relevant experience)
- Less than one year of relevant or practical experience
- Experience with Integration Platforms and Tools (SnapLogic, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, Talend)
- Database Management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Soft skills: Adaptability, Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Communication, Problem-solving, Time Management
- Experience delivering integration tasks as part of a team
- Familiarity with API development and web services (RESTful, SOAP)
- CI/CD concepts and pipelines
- Security best practices for integration solutions
