Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, and SQL; collaborate with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable, testable integration flows; coordinate with offshore teams on implementation, review, and QA; monitor and optimize performance across live integrations and identify bottlenecks; contribute to reusable components and integration templates to improve delivery efficiency; troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of healthcare integration or interoperability engineering
- Strong understanding of HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12 standards
- Hands-on experience with Python and at least one integration engine (Mirth, Rhapsody, InterSystems IRIS, or Redox)
- RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to reliability, scalability, and quality
