Job Summary
Integration Developer to design, build, and support complex integration solutions in Microsoft Azure within the Application Integration Platform team at Victoria University of Wellington. The team works with the Azure Platform, managing event-driven integrations between many systems with a preference for APIs. Key responsibilities include developing high quality solutions that meet business and technical needs, ensuring integrations are supportable and maintained to industry best practices, and assisting team members with clear documentation and handovers. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers and colleagues, delivering across multiple projects, and producing high-quality documents and reports. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant experience is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years delivering Cloud Integration solutions
- Minimum 5 years Software Development experience
- Experience building integrations in Microsoft Azure (App Service, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions, CosmosDB)
- Proficiency in C#, .Net, SQL, Visual Studio or VS Code, and Oracle Tools for database access
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD using Azure DevOps
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills with API testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in producing high quality documents and reports
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant experience
