Job Summary
Integration Developer role focused on designing, developing, and enhancing API-driven integrations within Sovereign Insurance's DAMS ecosystem. You will build and maintain APIs and integration services to enable reliable data flow between internal systems and external partners, deliver high-quality, maintainable code with strong unit testing, collaborate with agile teams, perform technical analysis and solution design for scalability and stability, support production stability, participate in AMTB ceremonies, and mentor teammates. The role requires a IT-related Diploma/degree and 5-7 years of experience, with deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Java EE, LoopBack), REST/OpenAPI/SOAP, security (OAuth2/JWT), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift), databases (SQL/PLSQL; MySQL/DB2), testing (JUnit/Mockito), CI/CD, cloud (Azure/AWS/IBM Cloud), and messaging/monitoring tools (RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS; Splunk/DataDog). Hybrid work model with at least 2 days in office in Canada.”,
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 5 to 7 years of IT experience
- Strong Java development expertise including Spring Boot, Java EE and LoopBack
- Experience with REST, Swagger OpenAPI and SOAP
- Spring Security, OAuth2 and JWT
- Docker, Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift
- SQL/PL SQL/MySQL/DB2
- JUnit/Mockito
- Agile and DevOps, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud) and Databricks
