Job Summary

Test electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with product requirements and specifications. Diagnose and repair faults to component level using schematic diagrams, ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Complete production and repair activities in line with planned schedules and routing times while accurately recording documentation and manufacturing data. Maintain compliance with quality standards including ISO9001 and AS9100, and support continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices. Ensure test equipment and tooling are available, calibrated, and fit for use while maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment through 5S principles.

Required Qualifications

  • Practical electronics experience within a test, repair, engineering, or manufacturing environment
  • Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills to component level
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  • Strong team player who values collaboration and respect
  • Flexible, adaptable, and motivated approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative when required
  • Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Good general education
  • Relevant experience in electronics fault finding and repair
  • Willingness to complete company training, including induction and human factors training, as required
