Job Summary
Integration and Test Engineer responsible for developing, executing, and documenting test procedures for complex systems to ensure performance, functionality, and reliability. Role involves integrating hardware and software components, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with design, software, and hardware teams to refine system designs. Duties include creating test plans and procedures, conducting functional, performance, and environmental testing, performing regression testing, maintaining test documentation and compliance artifacts, supporting customer demonstrations and field testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, 5+ years of system integration and testing experience, active DoD Top Secret clearance, experience with automation tools (Smart Bear/Test Complete), scripting (Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW), and knowledge of MIL-STD/DO-178C/DO-254. The role is full-time with travel may be required and U.S. citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of experience
- 5+ years of experience in system integration and testing
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Experience with system integration and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in Smart Bear / Test Complete automation software
- Strong knowledge of test equipment, data acquisition, and troubleshooting techniques
- Working knowledge in other test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
- Understanding of software-hardware interactions and embedded systems testing
- Ability to analyze and interpret test data, diagnose failures, and provide corrective actions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration
- Experience working in a DoD, aerospace, or defense industry environment
- Knowledge of MIL-STD, DO-178C, DO-254 or other relevant standards
- Background in agile testing practices and DevSecOps methodologies
- U.S. Citizenship is required
