Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care while monitoring patient status throughout procedures. Provide post-anesthesia evaluations, pain management recommendations, and recovery oversight while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and perioperative professionals to optimize patient safety. Accurately document anesthesia care in accordance with regulatory standards and participate in patient safety initiatives, quality improvement projects, and continuing education. Maintain current knowledge of evolving anesthesia techniques and evidence-based practices across diverse surgical specialties. Full-time role in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with flexible scheduling and voluntary overtime opportunities. Compensation ranges from $360,000 to $600,000 annually, including up to $150,000 in incentives and a $10,000 relocation bonus. Requires active CRNA certification, Pennsylvania licensure, and NBCRNA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania licensure before employment
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program
- Active NBCRNA certification
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and anesthesia management skills
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
- Ability to independently manage diverse anesthesia cases
- Must currently reside within commuting distance of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, or relocate independently before employment
- Authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospital or tertiary medical center anesthesia experience
- Experience managing trauma, neurological, obstetrical, orthopedic, vascular, and general surgical cases
- Experience with ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and advanced airway management
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications where applicable
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuing education
- Stable employment history demonstrating professional growth and increasing clinical responsibility
