Job Summary
As a Stage Integration RE at Stoke, you will be responsible for the technical and programmatic execution for all pre-ship integration and test operations of the stage. Your role includes delivering factory-acceptance-tested stages, managing engineering definitions across subsystems, and ensuring effective communication of design and configuration changes. You will collaborate closely with various teams, oversee stage integration processes, and drive continuous improvement in rocket stage design and manufacturing. The position requires significant experience in managing integrated systems, leading multidisciplinary projects, and strong engineering fundamentals.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years hands-on experience with complex integrated systems or products
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple development projects through the full lifecycle, from concept through sustained operations, on an aerospace or similar high-performance product
- Demonstrated experience leading teams on complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Proficiency with automation & control logic
- Ability to determine appropriate level of work for a problem (from hand calcs to multi-physics simulations) and execute the work accordingly
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or fluid systems at a hardware level
- Ability to lead
- Ability to follow
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years managing or leading teams preferred
- Working knowledge of product structures, PLM, and aerospace manufacturing techniques preferred
