Integrated Protection Manager

Job Summary
Integrated Protection Manager responsible for rapidly operationalizing IRC’s Integrated Protection Programme in the Ituri Ebola response context. Lead technical and managerial oversight of protection integration across child protection, GBV (VBG), SMSPS activities, and community risk mitigation; ensure delivery within approved plans, budgets, procurement, and MEAL frameworks; provide technical guidance to field teams, monitor quality against standards, and coordinate with Health, RCCE, MEAL, and external partners to ensure a coherent, community-centered response. Will supervise protection staff, support recruitment and onboarding, ensure safeguarding compliance, and maintain constructive relations with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders to advance protection outcomes for affected populations in Ituri during the outbreak.
Required Qualifications
- Licence or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Human Rights, Social Sciences or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- At least 4-5 years experience in protection programming, preferably in protection case management (VBG and/or PE), SMSPS programming and protection risk mitigation
- Experience in Ebola outbreak response in DRC is a strong asset
- Strong project and budget management experience and report writing
- Experience supervising and managing a multicultural team
- Knowledge of safeguarding and protection integration standards; ability to work with MEAL and RCCE teams
- Excellent planning, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- French language proficiency required; local languages of Ituri preferred; English an asset
