Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Social Services, this position is responsible for providing administrative and program support to the Social and Community Services Department. Duties include supporting Tier two in-person customer service at the counter; tracking inquiries and preparing monthly and annual reports; maintaining organization of the Tier two area; providing administrative support to staff, management and clients; developing and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors, funders, employers and community agencies to arrange service and program supports; liaising with internal staff and external stakeholders to streamline administrative processes; creating, monitoring, and adapting tracking devices to maintain accountability with Ministry outcomes, funder agreements, and program requirements; compiling statistics and related reports; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma with additional training in business/office software
- Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a human/social services environment or related field
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Excellent administrative, time management, organization/ planning and self-management skills
- Proficient use in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of MFIPPA, SAMS, OCCMS, YARDI Voyager is an asset
