Job Summary
Integrated Product Team Lead for Weapon System Integration (WSI) in Indianapolis, leading a cross-functional IPT to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance for airborne systems. Responsible for guiding development of airborne software/electrical/mechanical subsystems, leading system failure investigations, providing programmatic and technical direction with the Program Manager, representing the product team in CCBs/ERBs/FRBs, coordinating PMRs and TIMs with customers and subcontractors, leading ECPs and new initiatives, acting as CAM for EV and EAC, managing risk and opportunity, mentoring team members, ensuring compliance with processes, and overseeing readiness for SRR/CDR/TRR. Desired skills include PMP certification, a proven track record in DoD IPT programs, and experience with DoD IRAD/CRAD/TD/SDD/EMD programs, DoD production/Depot/repair programs, weapon systems experience, and leadership in aerospace/defense programs. Education requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience; Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with internal engineering processes and managing projects.
- Project Engineer or Manager experience.
- Strong technical background with project leadership experience.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience in tracking and optimizing cost and schedule performance.
