Job Summary
Lead a multi-disciplined project team in Radio Frequency (RF) design and development activities, managing production and test issues while overseeing design and production budget and program schedule. Prepare and present technical issues for program leadership and customer briefings, interfacing with technical engineers, production personnel, and support staff to drive tasks to completion. Utilize structured systems engineering, integration, and test activities to achieve on-time execution for arrayed antennas, monolithic microwave integrated circuits, and active electronically scanned arrays. Requires an active DoD Secret clearance and a degree in STEM with 10 years of relevant experience. This role supports Raytheon's Apertures and Radio Frequency Department, which designs technologies to defend freedoms and deter aggression.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Systems engineering
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Arrayed antennas
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Monolithic microwave integrated circuits
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Radio Frequency (RF) modules
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Beam forming architectures
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Power and Thermal
- Design or test experience in one or more of the following: Beam control firmware/software
- Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs)
- Experience with leading multi-disciplinary project teams through structured systems engineering, integration, and test activities and detailed planning to achieve on-time/on-schedule execution
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating and presenting technical information to leadership and peers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interfacing with technical engineers, production personnel and support personnel
- Presenting to upper-level management
- Providing leadership to drive tasks to completion to support budget and schedule
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
