Job Summary
Provide secondary consultation and practice leadership on complex, highly sensitive cases while supporting practitioners and Team Leaders through mentorship and development. Strengthen integrated practice across The Orange Door, partner agencies, and key stakeholders by offering expert advice on risk, accountability, and complex decision-making. Promote culturally safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based practice while leading reflective practice and workforce capability initiatives. Identify opportunities for practice improvement, innovation, and system development to build strong partnerships across community, government, and specialist service organisations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification aligned with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Workers
- Demonstrated experience leading practice in complex, multidisciplinary or multi-organisational service environments
- Strong knowledge of family violence, child development, attachment, trauma and child and family vulnerability
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and risk management
- The ability to provide sound professional judgement, consultation and practice advice
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across agencies and disciplines
- A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive and responsive practice
- A genuine commitment to reflective practice, continuous learning and professional development
- A satisfactory Police Check
- relevant 'Employee' Working with Children's Check
- a valid driver's licence
