Job Summary
Integrated Mental Health Therapist II delivers diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management within a medical clinic, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, providing brief, strength-based and solution-focused services to adults, children, and families; conducting suicide risk assessments; motivational interviewing and goal setting for self-management; coordinating referrals to psychiatric services; maintaining thorough documentation in the electronic health records system; and supporting quality measures and care coordination within a federally qualified health center in Washington state.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work (including coursework in psychological diagnostics)
- Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (or Mental Health Associate License)
- Must pass a Washington State Patrol background check
- Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintain
- Annual influenza vaccine required or valid medical/religious exemption with mask requirements during flu season
- Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Ability to provide diagnostic assessments for patients (adults and children) and communicate outcomes to the care team
- Spanish bilingual preferred
