Integrated Medical Clinical Nurse - Nights

Integrated Medical Clinical Nurse - Nights provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment, educates patients and families on managing illness or injury and post-treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development. Develops, implements and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver, ensuring communication of the plan across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, considering patient values and cultural needs. This is a safety-sensitive position with the requirement to work night shifts. A Magnet-certified hospital environment with opportunities for progression on the BJC RN Career Ladder is noted.
