Job Summary
Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant - Psychologist provides doctoral-level behavioral health services as part of a primary care team in the Ambulatory Care Services clinics. Responsibilities include brief evidence-based diagnostic assessment and treatment across the lifespan, crisis intervention, psychosocial risk assessment, health behavior change interventions (e.g., Motivational Interviewing), and documentation in the medical record. The role involves case management and coordination for referrals to specialty care, participation in quality improvement and research projects, and teaching/supervision of psychology interns and practicum students. Requires Doctorate in psychology, licensure (PSY-Licensed Psychologist), and BLS; schedule is regular days with 0.6 FTE.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in psychology from an accredited school
- 1-3 years work experience
- PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA or American Red Cross
