Job Summary
Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant (PhD/PsyD) at Denver Health's Lowry Clinic provides doctoral-level behavioral health services within a primary care team. Responsibilities include high-quality clinical services, brief diagnostic assessments, evidence-based brief therapies, health behavior change interventions (including Motivational Interviewing), crisis intervention and risk assessment, documentation in the medical record, case management and care coordination, participation in team meetings and teaching/supervision for psychology trainees, and involvement in quality improvement and research efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in psychology from an accredited school
- 1-3 years work experience
- PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners required
- BLS - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA or American Red Cross required
- Knowledge of evidence-based brief therapy modalities in primary care
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Experience with EHR systems and medical record documentation
- Ability to participate in teaching and supervision of psychology trainees
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
