Job Summary
Inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates and certifies integrated avionic system components at the intermediate level using an avionic manual test station/consoles and support and specialized precision measuring equipment; supervises intermediate level integrated avionic component activities; analyzes performance and isolates malfunctions of airborne electronic gear; conducts checkout of integrated avionic components; certifies and overhauls avionics test station/console and SE; performs On-the-Job-Training for assigned trainees; documents maintenance actions per published procedures; orders and receives parts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in RSAF AFSC 19672, or equivalent, of which one (1) year must be at the seven (7) level as an F-15 Avionics Test Station and Component Specialist Technician
- Qualification as an F-15 Integrated Avionics Manual Test Station and Component Specialist is mandatory
- Experience in repairing, overhaul, or modification of integrated avionics equipment and use and analysis of intermediate level test equipment is mandatory
