Integrated Avionics Communication, Navigation and Penetration Aids (C-Shop Technician)

Analyze malfunctions and inspect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated avionics communication, navigation, and penetration aids systems. Operate these systems using cathode ray tube displays and isolate faults within navigation, electronic warfare, and communication subsystems. Remove faulty units, install serviceable LRUs, perform system alignment, boresight equipment, and conduct operational checkouts of ECM gear. Document all maintenance actions per established procedures and perform acceptance inspections on new aircraft and equipment. Order and receive necessary parts while providing on-the-job training to assigned trainees.
