Job Summary
Integrated Arts Coach responsible for planning and overseeing the K-8 Academy of Visual and Performing Arts program delivery, including documentation, reporting, and program evaluation. Leads collaborative planning with teachers, conducts induction for new staff, disseminates program information to stakeholders, develops and maintains the program framework and master schedule, leads instructional leadership and coaching, coordinates curriculum development and evaluation, builds community partnerships, supports recruitment and outreach, manages budgets and grants, and communicates progress to students, families, teachers, administrators, and district personnel. Requires a Bachelor's degree, Michigan K-8 fine arts teaching license, and at least 3 years of successful teaching experience; prefers a Master’s degree and ongoing professional development in arts education and administration. The role includes fingerprint and background clearance as part of employment, with a contracted 226-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Fine Arts, Administration, or related discipline
- Michigan Grades K-8 Teacher's License in at least one fine arts discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching (effective or highly effective)
- Experience communicating and working with teachers, administrators, parents, and external stakeholders
