Job Summary
Monitor referral portals and communication channels for new patient referrals, then review them for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with case managers and clinicians to progress referrals toward Start of Care, conducting patient welcome calls to verify Primary Care Provider details. Respond to intake inquiries via phone, email, or EHR systems to collect demographic and insurance information while explaining required documentation. Verify eligibility through Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer portals, then prepare and submit claims to support billing processes. Enter and maintain accurate patient data in EHR systems, ensuring all records comply with HIPAA standards and are audit-ready. Track unsigned orders and follow up with PCP offices to resolve documentation issues before billing cycles. Work an 8-hour graveyard shift aligned with U.S. business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4-year course or a Bachelor's degree
- Experience in healthcare administration, medical intake, patient access, or billing support
- Strong understanding of intake workflows, insurance verification, and documentation standards
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and time management
- Ability to work independently while following structured processes and SOPs
- Willing to work an 8-hour graveyard shift - PH Time, aligned with U.S. business hours
- Stable internet connection (Minimum of 100MBPS for Download Speed; Minimum of 50MBPS for Upload speed) and reliable computer equipment (Minimum of Intel Core i5 or equivalent with minimum 8GBs of RAM) - With backup device
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home health, hospice, or medical office settings
