Job Summary
Intake Specialist on the Access Team focusing on completing client intakes to determine eligibility for programs and services. Responsibilities include meeting with clients by phone, virtually, or in person; executing the intake schedule; conducting outreach to underserved populations; participating in Coordinated Entry meetings; accurate documentation and live data-entry in systems; supporting program development and reporting; providing coverage for housing department needs; maintaining confidentiality and understanding of program requirements; acting as the agency’s fair housing representative when assigned; and contributing to process improvements while delivering compassionate, trauma-informed service to people experiencing homelessness or housing crisis.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
- Lived experience with homelessness or housing crisis preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
