Job Summary
Bilingual Intake Specialist responsible for greeting clients and visitors, assisting with check-in, scheduling appointments, educating clients on documents needed, accurate data entry in the EMR, assembling income documents, and ensuring information is up to date. Role includes processing daily batches, generating reports (e.g., Variance Report), and determining Medicaid/Medicare eligibility, with emphasis on assisting diverse client populations and maintaining high levels of customer service both in person and over the phone. Requires Spanish fluency, ability to handle multiple tasks, and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a standard high school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of prior experience in an office or health-related position
- Fluency in Spanish language
