Job Summary
Receive and process new client referrals and intake requests, collecting demographics, medical information, insurance details, and required documentation. Coordinate initial client assessments and start-of-care services while verifying eligibility and maintaining accurate records in the system. Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of all intake requirements. Follow up on referrals and manage caregiver assignments and service schedules as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and applicable home care laws.
Required Qualifications
- College degree
- At least 1 year of previous experience in home care, healthcare, or intake
- Bilingual in English and Russian
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, families, healthcare providers, and internal teams
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers, electronic medical records (EMR), and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Reliable, compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- proficiency in additional languages
- Health Insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid agent experience
- Experience with Salesforce and HHAeXchange
