Job Summary
Act as the initial contact person for individuals interested in advocacy services, identifying key issues to determine needed supports and types of advocacy services. Assist individuals and families in completing intake documentation while providing outreach efforts in the two-county area. Work with individuals, groups, families, and the general public to ensure the rights of people with intellectual disabilities in areas such as education, legislation, and community services. This full-time role begins at $19.50 per hour with a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in a related field
- two years experience
- High School Diploma (or its equivalent)
- four years of experience
