Job Summary
Oversee direct care of residents, manage the intake process, and coordinate with security to ensure client safety. Supervise staff, participate in training and evaluations, and conduct weekly unit inspections for ACS and newborns. Maintain house logs, prepare incident reports, and mediate client disputes while conducting regular building inspections. Respond to emergencies by interfacing with police, fire, and EMS, and lead periodic fire drills. Arrange bedding and linens, manage food delivery, and handle maintenance violations. Work Monday through Sunday on a revolving shift for 24-hour coverage, requiring climbing stairs, stooping, and sustained standing.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Certification in First Aid, CPR
- Fire Safety Coordinator
- Food Handlers Certification
- Monday through Sunday, revolving shift for 24 hour coverage
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs (about 10 flights)
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs and ramps using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
- Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
- Ability to bend legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees
- Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Ability to move about on foot
- Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Ability to raise objects from a lower to a higher position or move objects horizontally
- Ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers
- Ability to apply pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels
- Ability to perceive attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin
- Required to have close visual acuity
- Ability to read and interpret written information
Desired Qualifications

- Proficient in computer software programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, CARES, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
