Job Summary
Conduct community outreach and networking activities to promote services and build ties with third-party vendors, special groups, and local organizations. Plan and execute events, host clinic activities, and perform full eligibility screenings for potential program participants. Manage daily assignments, report weekly outreach efforts, and evaluate event success to continuously improve processes. Immediately report emergencies to the Program Manager and maintain ethical communication standards with internal and external parties. Requires a driver's license, daily vehicle use, and availability for travel, before/after-hours work, and weekend assignments.
Required Qualifications
- BA in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Communications or related field
- 1+ years case management experience
- Driver's License with a clear record
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance
- Works business hours
- Position requires support before and after workday and weekends as assigned
- Must have daily use of a vehicle
- Must be available and willing to travel to various locations
Desired Qualifications
- Project management or event planning experience
- Prior experience in mental health outreach within community and/or veteran organizations
- 2+ years in a customer service-focused environment
- At least two years' experience in supervisory roles
- 2-3 years in outreach and marketing activities
