Job Summary
Intake and Outreach Specialist supports the Employment Services Program by conducting intake, eligibility screening, making referrals, and serving as a liaison to community agencies. Responsibilities include processing intake calls, documenting eligibility, updating resource databases, cultivating partnerships, conducting street outreach, and assisting with enrollment under Trauma-Informed Care and Housing First models. The role involves coordinating with program staff, preparing reports, and representing Volunteers of America at community events and meetings, with a light caseload of HVRP clients and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in communication, human services, administration, or related fields.
