Job Summary
Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigations. Liaise with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation for treatment and communicate patient status updates. Communicate the referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric manner while maintaining medical inventory and office supplies. This role requires reading medical charts, working on insurance pre-authorizations, and utilizing Electronic Health Records systems. Located onsite in Mt. Laurel, NJ, with a 6-week training plan provided to support success.
Required Qualifications
- Health Care Experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new apps
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Must provide documentation of a negative TB test (within the last two years)
- Must provide a current BLS certification
