Job Summary
Intake Coordinator at Freeman Recovery Center assists new clients upon arrival, greets admissions, performs searches of belongings and logs items into the EMR, ensures supplies for next-day admissions, and maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR, while coordinating with the transportation team and performing as-needed administrative tasks. Strong listening, communication, time-management, and professionalism skills are essential; familiarity with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder recovery, and knowledge of EHR/EMR systems are important. Education requirement is GED or high school equivalent; certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is preferred.
