Intake Coordinator/Infusion Guide responsible for handling infusion referral process, obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation; liaison with referring providers; communicate referral status to patients in a customer-centric way; maintain medical inventory; dedicated 6 week training; requires health care experience, prior authorization experience, medical terminology, and EHR proficiency; located onsite in Dix Hills, NY with hours 8am-4:30pm; salary starts at $25/hr with quarterly bonus and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Health Care Experience Required
- Prior Experience in Infusion is Preferred
- Insurance Prior Authorization Experience
- Medical Terminology Experience
- Overall Medical Insurance Experience
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
