Job Summary
Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, and benefit investigations. Liaise with referring providers to obtain necessary documentation for treatment and communicate patient status updates in a customer-centric manner. Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care possible. This Full-Time role is located onsite in Commack, NY with hours from 8:00 - 4:30pm M-F. Candidates must have health care experience and prior authorization skills.
Required Qualifications
- Health Care Experience
- Ability to quickly grasp new apps
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Must provide documentation of a negative TB test (within the last two years)
- Must provide a current BLS certification
