Job Summary
Intake & Brief Intervention Clinician role delivering intake assessments, mental state and risk assessments, brief intervention and single-session therapy to 12-25-year-olds; coordinates care pathways from assessment through referral and follow-up; advocates for young people by liaising with families, schools, employers, and external services; presents clinical assessments at intake meetings and reviews; develops and facilitates therapeutic groups; maintains accurate clinical documentation; collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to support youth care.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in counselling, psychology, social work, occupational therapy (registration desirable but not mandatory)
- Experience conducting intake, assessment, and risk assessment with young people
- Knowledge of adolescent development and youth mental health
- Experience using evidence-informed therapeutic approaches
