Job Summary
Answer calls and enter data/notes regarding callers, follow up on missed assessments, compile patient lists for physicians and daily flash reports, manage inventory of patient belongings, and perform AIS data entry. Confirm accuracy of patient registration information, verify benefits preliminarily, and build charts to facilitate the beginning of each patient's treatment. This role supports intake counselors, Admission RNs, and Mental Health Workers within Vista del Mar Hospital's behavioral health team.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience working in mental health field
- Minimum of 2 years customer service or combination of education and experience required
- Experience in behavioral healthcare setting
