Job Summary
Maintain a reduced caseload of families referred for services following child abuse or neglect investigations, conducting needs assessments, service planning, and case coordination to keep children safe and families intact. Implement the Solution Based Casework Model with fidelity, identifying support systems and monitoring progress toward goals while scheduling and completing unannounced home visits. Prepare court reports, attend scheduled court dates, and testify in Juvenile Court regarding the best interests of children and families. Complete all modules of the Intact Family Services Training Series and establish collaborative relationships with service providers and institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field
- Child Welfare Employee License (CWEL)
- Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol (CERAP)
- Child Abuse and Neglect (CANS) certification
- Ability to obtain CWEL, CERAP, or CANS certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to attend in-person meetings and events
- Valid driver's license
- Valid driver's insurance
- Reliable vehicle
